Environmental temperature fluctuations cause the following changes in the fluid volume inside the sensor head. These volume changes cause movement of the internal mechanism, resulting in the valve closing or opening, thereby modulating the water flow that reaches the heating element. As the room temperature approaches the desired value, the head gradually closes the valve, allowing only the minimum amount of water necessary to maintain a constant room temperature; this means guaranteed energy savings.
